Doolin Language Centre co-operates with a number of other organisations in the Burren region who offer a wide variety of adventure and leisure activity. Full information on their range of activities may be found by following their links below. Burren Painting Centre

The Burren Painting Centre offers a most enjoyable learning experience for those interested in painting in watercolour, oil, acrylic or pastel. Irish and international tutors who are all experts in their own particular discipline are on hand to help you improve your painting techniques. The painting programmes emphasise painting of landscapes, seascapes and streetscapes with a number of locations in North Clare providing the subject matter. Studio facilities are also available in case of bad weather and for exhibitions of work.

Heart of Burren Walks

Tony Kirby of Heart of Burren Walks provides a highly enjoyable, passionate and humourous interpretation of the Burren landscape. Tony has a wealth of information on the archaeology, botany, fauna, geology, agriculture and folklore of the Burren region and he offers insightful commentary on all of these aspects during his guided walks. In addition, Tony is an experienced EFL teacher and so will be able to provide additional guidance on linguistic challenges that may arise.

Mountain View Trekking

Located just outside Doolin, Mountain View Pony Trekking & Horse-riding Centre offers a variety of treks and trails for all levels. Its owner, Peter Williams, is the third generation of his family to manage the stables - his father and grandfather previously concentrated on caring for and rearing championship horses. The centre has both horses and Connemara ponies, all trained to be ideal riding companions on the treks, and all routes will allow you get a true flavour of Irish history and heritage in the Burren.

Aloha Surf School offers professional surfing instruction for people of all ages and abilities.
